Little Herberts has moved from their previous location in Wembley. They are now located at Suites 9&10 City West Centre 102 Railway street West Perth, which is the same building as Scitech
Park in the main car park where you will get 2 hours FREE parking. You need to enter your car registration into the ticket machine.
Jo is the owner of Little Herberts and mum of two gorgeous boys she has opened this amazing hairdresser for kids and is passionate about hair cuts and hair care for kids. That means a fun and relaxed store, and the very best and safest products with no nasty chemicals.
Jo started Little Herberts because She wanted to combine her creative flair for hair, with her love of children, and give parents and kids a space dedicated to providing the best care for kids and their hair.
Her youngest child was an anxious child and hated getting his haircut. And she dreaded taking him to the hairdresser like I’m sure a lot of parents do.
So, in February 2019, after a lot of research, planning and hard work she opened the doors to her first shop.
Jo has worked hard to cultivate a reputation for excellence, by creating a contemporary and funky space that makes the kids feel safe and helps the parents feel happy and relaxed too.
As well as an In-store hairdresser and shop there is now the option to shop online, where you can also book your hair appointment and purchase hair care products.
Little Herbert’s specialises in children’s hair and also cut babies’ hair. And even though they focus on hair cuts for children, they also look after Mums and Dads as well as some grandparents. So it can be a 1 stop hairdressing trip for the family.
There is a range of kid’s chairs that the kids can choose to sit in likes planes and cars.
Another cool aspect is the floor is covered in glitter!
When I first took Paizley to get her very first hair cut I was so emotional and it was such a little milestone for us. Little Herbert’s provide a package called child’s first hair cut where you get to keep their lock of hair plus a certificate and a photo which is emailed to you. I did the same for Logan and I’ve put it away in their keepsake boxes. Paizley was so nervous and really didn’t want to get her hair cut which is why we left it till she was 4 years old!
When we arrived they get to choose which seat they would like to sit in and of course, she chose the pink plane. They then set the iPad up for them to watch while getting their hair cut. To finish, children’s hair is braided or tied into a simple style with a bow of your choice. Then after the hair cut, they get a choice of a little gift like popcorn, bubbles or a lollipop. The experience was so enjoyable, with such friendly staff and so accommodating to the kids. I can now book online and get Paizley and Logan done at the same time. It’s amazing!
Jo also offers hair styling and braiding workshops
They show you how to brush and style your daughter’s hair without the tears (and tantrums), how to create fab looking hair ‘doos along with some extra tips and tricks along the way.
You’ll get to spend quality time with your daughter while she sits back and gets busy reading, drawing and colouring in. We’ll also provide refreshments and snacks throughout the session.
The gift shop is just beautiful and has the most prettiest gifts, toys and clothing for both boys and girls as well as hair care products. There is a kids corner with toys that siblings can play with while waiting for the haircut to start or finish.
Little Herberts is like no other and I’m so glad we have found somewhere the kids love going with friendly staff it has been such a great experience getting the kids hair cut.
