If you have a little dinosaur fanatic or just looking for a nice indoor play centre, then you have to check out Explorasaurus at O’Connor! Previously known as Tropical Twist Playcentre, it has been revamped into Perth’s first dinosaur-themed Playcentre!

When we entered Explorasaurus, we were asked to remove our shoes. A shoe rack is available to store our footwear. Kids can play with or without socks inside the play centre.

The girls were ecstatic to see the huge dinosaur displays.

Missy 9 was attracted to the animatronic dinosaurs and was engrossed in reading about all the dinosaur facts. I really appreciate the effort the team has put into creating a learning environment about the dinosaurs at the Playcentre.

There are various interactive dinosaur panels for the kids to explore and play with.

Missy 9 loved the strength test challenge with the T-Rex!

A dino cam to learn about dinosaur eyesight!

Missy 6 dashed straight to the play area instead.

The huge multilevel play structure has many crawling tunnels, climbing ropes and nets, zip-lines, monkey bars, swinging rings and slides for the kids to manoeuvre.

With three storeys to climb, it provided the kids with endless fun at every turn and corner. I can say that the play equipment is very well maintained and clean.

Younger toddlers can enjoy free play at their toddler zone, which has a big sensory wall panel, dinosaur puzzle table, and soft building blocks.

Even the bouncy castle has dinosaurs in it!

Kids can get digging at the popular dino pit for a little rest. Multiple kids can easily fit into the pit, which is quite spacious. The staff was very nice to remind the kids not to throw or remove the pallets from the pit, and I saw them sweeping up the pallets very promptly to keep the place tidy.

Explorasaurus has a café at the front of the play centre with a big dining area. The menus are reasonably priced. Adults can comfortably sit in the dining area and watch the kids play.

And if you are thinking about birthday parties, the venue has two different party rooms to choose from. All are nicely decorated with dino prints.

The bathrooms are kids friendly with stools for them to wash their hands and baby change table are located in their parent room.
