Espressoul is part of the small Riverdrive shopping centre in Riverton. It is quite a large cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.

There is room for a pram to get between tables, and you don’t feel like you are sitting on top of the next table.

I recently discovered this cafe when my friend took me for a weekend high tea. It was delicious, well presented, and value for money. I have returned a couple of times with the family for coffee and breakfast.

Espressoul is well-suited to children. There is a kids’ corner with a range of toys, chalk, and books to keep the young ones occupied.

The cafe also offers menu items “For the little generation,” including bacon and eggs, pancakes, chicken nuggets, and mini brekkie Mi-Goreng.

The baby chinos are served with marshmallows and look like smiley faces. One of the toilets is equipped with a changing table, and there are high chairs available.

The menu combines traditional dishes like eggs and bacon burger or big brekkie with a range of Taiwanese dishes like braised pork belly and signature sandwiches. On our recent breakfast visit my daughter had the kids egg and bacon and I had the Avo- Cuddle. Both breakfasts were well-presented and tasty.

As well as the menu items they have display cabinets with cakes and savoury items like salmon bagels, croissants, sandwiches and quiches.

Espressoul is located on Riverton Drive East and is close to Fern Park and the river if you are looking for a park play or river walk as well.
