Oasis Supa Golf in the Swan Valley has long been a favourite for families, and it’s now better than ever with the addition of modern facilities, regular specials and the on‑site Gerry’s Deli & Pizzeria. Located on West Swan Road, it’s super easy to combine a visit with other Swan Valley attractions, or make it the main event for a fun family day out.
Supa Golf is a brilliant hybrid between traditional golf and mini golf, designed so that kids, teens and adults can all play together. Instead of tiny clubs and fiddly putters, players use special Supa Golf clubs with oversized heads and a large, lightweight plastic ball. The course is laid out like a real golf course, just shrunken down – there are fairways, bunkers, greens and even water hazards – but it’s much more approachable for children and beginners. Because the ball and clubs are bigger, it’s easier for kids to connect with the ball and see where it goes, which means fewer frustrations and lots more laughs.
Each player gets a pull‑along buggy with four clubs: the Driva/“Big Boy” for teeing off, a Strika for general shots along the fairway, a Jigga for getting out of tricky situations and a Putta for finishing things off on the green. The trolleys have handy trays and holders for drinks and bags, so it’s easy to bring water bottles, snacks or hats along as you go. Holes range from shorter par 3s up to par 5s, giving a nice mix of quick wins and more challenging holes that will hook competitive kids (and parents!) in.
Families can choose to play 9 or 18 holes. If you’re visiting with younger children or first‑timers, 9 holes is usually the sweet spot and will take around 1.5 hours. Older kids, teens and keen adults might prefer the full 18, which you should allow up to three hours for, depending on how busy the course is and how large your group is. There is some shade along the way and benches to wait on between holes, but most of the course is quite open, so it’s a classic “slip, slop, slap” venue – hats, sunscreen and water are a must, especially on warmer days.
As well as Supa Golf, the same venue is home to Supa Putt (mini golf), a more traditional style miniature golf course set amongst gardens and water features. Supa Putt is perfect for younger children, mixed‑age families, or for those who want a shorter, more casual game.
It’s also a great backup if you have little ones who find 18 holes of Supa Golf a bit much – you can always plan to do Supa Golf with older kids and Supa Putt with younger siblings.
The clubhouse area has been refreshed and now includes Gerry’s Deli & Pizzeria, which keeps everyone fuelled before or after a game. Families can grab pizzas, burgers, kids’ meals and snacks, along with coffee, soft drinks and something a bit stronger for adults. There are plenty of seating options and the space feels relaxed and family‑friendly, making it easy to turn your visit into a full outing rather than just a quick game. The food side is also tightly linked to the games with regular deals – for example, weekday lunch specials that include half‑price games, after‑school game and meal combos, and evening family and date‑night offers that pair a meal at Gerry’s with discounted rounds of Supa Golf or Supa Putt on the same day.
