Autumn has been upon us for a couple of months now, but itโ€™s not until May when the autumn colour really comes out to play! We’ve scoured the city, and the Perth Hills to bring you the lowdown on all of the best places where the kids can kick up the leaves and crunch them under their shoes. Grab your camera, jump in the car and embark on a leafy adventure. Here are the best places in Perth to find autumn leaves.

We think the Perth Hills is the best region for finding falling leaves in Perth! Take a scenic drive through the Bickley Valley where thereโ€™s row upon row of golden vines, or take a trip to Mundaring Weir and see the changing leaves in nearby Fred Jacoby Park. Or why not explore the lovely town of Kalamunda and kick up the leaves at Stirk Park? Here are a few more places you can spot the autumn awesomeness in the Perth Hills:

S & R Orchards Autumn Festival is a must-visit event during May. Found near Kalamunda, this stone fruit orchard comes alive with vibrant autumn colours, photo props and activities offering a fun-filled experience for everyone. Mundaring Sculpture Park 

Calling all art-loving families… if you’re looking to immerse yourself in a unique autumn experience, head over to Mundaring Sculpture Park. This popular Perth Hills park blends art and nature, PLUS it has an awesome playground.  As kids explore the park, they’ll find sculptures nestled among the trees. While you’re there take a walk along the Railway Reserves Heritage walking trail.
