  We (my wife, 2 toddlers and myself) went on a rainy day in June, the main restaurant was closed so we were in the smaller one, the lodge cafe. I expect the majority of the overly positive reviews are related to the main restaurant.

  First, food was really good.
  Second, Restaurant wasn’t full.
  Third, service really slow (we were told of 1/2 wait due to big order), when our order came out at different times (my wife got her burger just as I finished mine).
  Fourth, grounds would be more lovely if maintained a little more.

  My family (5 kids and my husband) and I went here for my birthday meal and LOVED it! However, we went after the renovation and I’m pretty sure the rest of the reviews were related to before the renovation. Great place for kids to play and amazing gardens. Food was amazing and very friendly staff. The fish ponds were amazing and the kids loved looking at the fish. Loved it!!
