What is so great about toddler playgrounds Perth?
Little ones can practise their climbing and sliding, or enjoy educational elements in a safe environment designed for toddlers. Delight the senses with musical play or water play, or little kids can get hands-on in mud kitchens or with sand tables with their friends. Many toddler playgrounds are fenced, keeping little runners away from busy roads.

Considering Wanneroo is built on old market garden land, it is very fitting that the recently upgraded Frederick Duffy Park is farming themed. This great little park has something for everyone. Set amongst mature gum trees the park has plenty of shade for playing and picnics. At the centre of the park is a big gazebo with a BBQ, picnic tables and a water fountain. Tucked away in the heart of Gosnells, amongst 22 hectares of wetlands at Mary Carroll Park, you’ll find the brand new all-abilities playground. Iluka Foreshore Park has a brand new nautical themed nature playground that kids of all ages are guaranteed to love! Iluka Foreshore Park is separated into three sections, the first consists of a wooden boat, it was perfect for my toddler to play on, he loved steering the boat and climbing the steps to the slide. Wow, wow, wow! Shipwreck Cove park in Golden Bay, has totally nailed it! What a fantastic family space and visually it looks stunning! A beautiful green parkland along Golden Bay foreshore, right next to the Indian Ocean. The shipwreck themed park has a playground including a separate fenced area for toddlers, a cool pump track, a cycle and scooter circuit, BBQs, shaded picnic tables, toilets, showers, lots of parking, a stunning new lookout point and beach access. Royal Lockwood Reserve is a new fenced playground that has opened in Yokine as of the end of November 2017. It is a great mix of nature play and traditional play equipment. On entering the gate, to the right we found some balancing logs, stepping logs and a wooden teepee. This is surrounded a thick bed of wood chips and by natural shade trees, which were retained from the original lot that was here before the playground was created. Hawaiian’s Mezz Playground, Mount Hawthorn Recently Hawaiian’s Mezz in Mount Hawthorn upgraded their children’s playground to a new nature play style setup. This new playground engages children from toddlers to tweens, and is a great place to stop off whilst getting your shopping done. The main part of the playground is a new wooden play structure. The Caterpillar Playground is a favourite amongst families in Mandurah. Parents love it due to the fact it is enclosed and kids love it because there is so much to do. Also known as Milgar Street Reserve, the Caterpillar Playground is easily accessible via Park Road with plenty of parking available. Access is also available via Reserve Drive for those on foot.
