Stella Gelato, West Swan

Stella Gelato in the Swan Valley has moved location! It is now located on the grounds of the Ugly Duckling Winery on West Swan Road.

What’s in a name? “Stella” means star in Italian. Owned by the Starr Family, Stella makes the perfect name for this popular Gelato business. The Swan Valley has a big heritage of Italian families, so it’s no surprise that the area is now well known for fresh gelato, as well as its lush vineyards.

Using best local ingredients, the team at Stella Gelato pride themselves on the quality of their product, with fresh and exciting flavours made daily such as watermelon gelato, liquorice and honeycomb. Stella also create new flavours each week so there is always something new to try one I saw that I wasn’t game to try was the chilli chocolate!!! There are also fun vegan and dairy free flavours like Biscoff and peanut butter. If you’re not too sure what to choose, a free tasting makes the decision much easier!

As well as delicious gelato there are so many more options to choose from like milkshakes, hot and cold drinks, and sweet delicious treats like yummy waffles.

We enjoyed a quality barista made coffee with our gelato.

Paizley is obsessed with bubble-gum ice cream so of course that was her choice and she said it was the best she has ever tasted! I tried the hazelnut and it was so nice, such delicious flavour. It was so nice to sit and relax under the trees it was such a calming relaxing vibe.

There is plenty of seating while you eat your yummy treats, lots of shade amongst the vineyards, large open areas for the kids to run around while being fenced off from west swan road and great fast friendly service.
