Families visiting Maddington Central Shopping Centre now have a brand-new reason to stay a little longer. Located about 20km southeast of Perth, the shopping centre has recently refurbished its food court area, introducing a brighter dining space and a brand-new purpose-built indoor playground for its youngest customers! This upgrade is part of ongoing improvements aimed at making the centre a more welcoming community hub for local families and new shoppers.

One of the most fantastic additions is the new indoor playground, built just right inside the food court area! Perfect for toddlers to 10-year-olds, this dedicated play space gives children an exciting, fun place to climb, explore, and burn off their energy while parents can relax nearby with a coffee or a meal.
The spacious play space has been thoughtfully designed so that many children of all ages can play together at once. Toddlers can enjoy exploring the play module, featuring a variety of sensory and play panels on the soft-fall rubber flooring. The ease of getting up to the play module and sliding down the slide will provide endless fun for the little ones.

Older children are not forgotten as they get to enjoy climbing up the tall tower with a tunnel slide. This was a MEGA hit amongst the children as they took turns climbing up and down the tower!

With plenty of seating close to the playground, this makes it an ideal spot for a quick coffee playdate or a family meal for weekdays after-school runs or weekend visits all year round! The revitalised food court has been redesigned to feel more open, comfortable and welcoming and brings together a variety of food options to suit everyone’s taste.

Some of the popular eateries in the food court include: Bucking Bull, Chicken N Fish, Mamak Goreng, Muffin Break, Taste of Heaven Café, Nishiki, and Chinese Canton.

Families will appreciate that public toilets and parenting rooms are just located a stone’s throw away from the playground and food court. The parenting rooms are clean and well-equipped with amenities such as a microwave, nappy change tables, comfortable nursing chairs, and a junior toilet.

Children can also find ride-on rides and claw machines located at various spots around the centre.

Maddington Central also provide free activities for babies and children with their Baby Play At The Shop and Children Time At The Shop programs during school terms.
For parents running errands or families looking for an easy outing, Maddington Central Shopping Centre might just become a new favourite, with over 60 stores to shop at and its upgraded food court and new playground!
