Subiaco Common is a great space for all the family, including your furry friend. Located in Subiaco Centro this space has a recently redeveloped play space, green spaces, lots of trees, a lake, BBQs and picnic benches. For a small area, the play space has fitted a lot in. There is a sand play area, birds nest swing and climbing structure with a slide and fireman’s pole. The main climbing structure has two platforms joined by a closed in rope bridge. One platform has a slide and one has a fireman’s pole. Access into the structure is from the large Read moreโฆ

Operating since 2009, the Subiaco Farmers Market is one of WA’s original and most beloved weekly markets, running every Saturday morning at Subiaco Primary School. This vibrant community market offers fresh local produce, gourmet foods, and delicious breakfast options, all while supporting WA farmers and producers. With live entertainment and a family-friendly atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to start your weekend while supporting a not-for-profit organization that gives back to the local school. Top Tip: Plan to arrive early (around 7:30am) and bring the kids – there’s plenty of space for them to enjoy themselves while you shop. Make a Read moreโฆ

Situated close by to Subiaco Train Station and Domain Stadium is the pretty and peaceful Market Square Park. We discovered the park after a visit to a nearby cafe, and Miss almost 3 loved it! It was quiet and leafy, full of birdsong with the sound of the occasional train going by. Market Square Park has a small playground covered with shade sails and with thick rubber soft fall matting as a base. The main part Miss loved was the curly slide, climbing it and sliding down repeatedly. There are also climbing ladders, a small chain ladder, a steering wheel Read moreโฆ

Nestled just behind the Subiaco Arts Centre, Subiaco Theatre Gardens Playspace is a lovely oasis of grass, trees, and nature play. ย A fountain that creates a trickling brook runs down the centre of the park. Children are invited to build damns to block the water, and then lift the hatches to release it. ย At the end of the brook is a sandpit, perfect for playing with trucks or dipping your toes. ย ย The park has a great climbing structure with ropes, monkey bars, and balancing beams. ย ย Along the lines of the theatre theme, there is a Read moreโฆ

Mueller Park Playspaceย is clean, fun, fresh and imaginative for all ages, but we love it especially for its safety, accessibility and appeal to toddlers. It is easily accessible from the train (Fremantle line, West Leederville stop), but parking can sometimes prove challenging. Mueller Park Playspace was commissioned in 2009 as an initiative to improve facilities for children with disabilities.ย ย Equal access is catered for through the inclusion of “activities and spaces that allow the exploration of the physical world through the use of sight, touch, sound and smell”.ย Specialised play equipment was included for use by children with a range of Read moreโฆ
