Lancelin Holiday Park Review
Lancelin Holiday Park is the perfect camp site if you’re new to camping or if you just want a quick getaway. Only an hour and a half from Perth, it’s so easily accessible for a short trip and has all the amenities to help make it a comfortable and fun experience. We recently camped for two nights and, despite some very wet weather, we had a really great time.
The caravan park is located right next to the beach with powered and unpowered tent sites and powered caravan sites. All sites are pet friendly.
The camp kitchen is fantastic. Large and clean it really helped make our camping experience more comfortable. There’s a fridge, oven, stove tops, microwave and plenty of seating so that our large group could comfortably have meals together. It’s also fully enclosed so great shelter from winter weather. Just outside the kitchen are two bbqs and outdoor seating.
There are three toilet/ shower blocks within the park so you shouldn’t have to walk too far no matter where your site is. They are kept clean and the showers are hot with good pressure.
Lancelin Holiday Park also boasts the largest bouncing pillow in WA! This is so much fun and located right next to a playground so a perfect spot to burn some energy.
There’s also a great recreation room for some down time. There’s a tv (and a Nintendo switch can be hired from reception), ping pong table, chalk board and games like snakes and ladders and Jenga.
The absolute favourite facility was the indoor pool and spa! The pool is huge and being indoors it means that a holiday swimming can happen no matter the weather.
We had a great weekend away at Lancelin Holiday Park and loved that being so close meant that we were able to get a fairly large group together. If you’re not a camper, there will be chalets available from November this year!
Lancelin is a great place to visit for the beach, fishing, sand-boarding, 4WD the dunes and a fantastic large pub. All the essentials for a great weekend.
