Love an insta-worthy dessert? Well, Whisk Creamery is a gelato and sorbet lovers paradise!
Found along leafy Rokeby Road, we popped to their Subiaco store after a play in Kings Park. There’s plenty of seating inside and out, plus highchairs and a blackboard to have a draw on. It’s a great place for a sweet school holiday snack.
Either build your own dessert (pick a base, flavour, crunch and sauce), the possibilities are endless! Or pick from the insta-worthy house specialties, which we did. There are vegan and gluten free options as well. Plus, there are smoothies, shakes and coffee.
Here’s what we ate:
Unicorn – vanilla gelato with sprinkles and a toasted marshmallow.ย
Salted caramel gelato with Maltesers and Nutella.
Cookies and cream gelato in a cone.ย
Decadent salted caramel gelato with macadamia nuts in a croinut sandwich!ย
My fave, “Pav in a cup”. Mango passionfruit sorbet, cream, meringue, strawberries, and strawberry gel.ย ย
The adults and the kiddos all loved the gelato creations! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on their socials for fun limited-edition creations and specials like “Taiyaki Tuesday”. Taiyaki are a soft Japanese fish shaped cone, used making a pancake/waffle batter.ย
