Wanneroo Aquamotion is a family-friendly aquatic and leisure facility located in Wanneroo.
The 25 metre indoor lap pool at Wanneroo Aquamotion is the perfect place for swimmers of all levels and abilities. This pool has a depth ranging from 1m to 1.2m, making it ideal for both beginner and experienced swimmers alike.
The indoor lap pool is also equipped with lanes specifically dedicated for pool walking and lane swimming, allowing visitors the opportunity to get their laps in without having interruption from other recreational activities taking place in the pool area. It also includes a disability access lift for those who may require extra assistance getting into or out of the water.
The adjacent leisure pool is the perfect place for all the family to relax and have fun. It has a beach entry, allowing you to ease into the water, and features exciting water features such as geysers, jets and rain curtains. The depth of the pool ranges from 0.2m to 0.8m so it’s suitable for swimmers of all abilities, from children splashing around to adults who want a gentle swim.
The small outdoor pool at Wanneroo Aquamotion measures 1.8m in depth, making it suitable for various swimming activities including scuba diving and deep water aerobics. It has three standard diving boards and is open from September to April.
The outdoor water splash pad is a great family-friendly area for kids to play and explore and offers the perfect chance for them to cool down in summer. The water splash pad is open from September through April and is fully covered by shade sails. With exciting sprinklers, jets and fountains built into the ground, it’s sure to keep children entertained all day long. Best of all, parents can relax knowing their little ones are having fun while staying out of direct sunlight!
Next to the splash pad is a playground where little ones to let off some steam and enjoy themselves. It features a variety of equipment and is covered by shade sails. The playground is fully fenced in so parents can relax knowing their kids are safe while they play.
The outdoor area also includes picnic tables and BBQs where families can enjoy lunch or snacks after swimming.
It also makes an excellent spot for a birthday party.
There’s also an onsite cafe, the Splash Pad, which serves up light refreshments throughout the day.
Lifeguards are always on duty at Wanneroo Aquamotion so you can be sure that safety is taken seriously around here – no matter if you’re taking a leisurely swim or practising your dives off of one of the boards! Children under the aged of 10 must be directly supervised by a responsible adult when in the centre and children aged 5 and under must be accompanied within an arms reach by a parent/guardian at all times.
If you are looking to enrol your child in swimming lessons Wanneroo Aquamotion operates a term time swim school for children aged 6 months and above. Lessons for the Aquababy and preschool classes take place in the hydrotherapy pool which is heated to 32-34 degrees.
