Buggbuddys guide to playgrounds near cafes in Perth! The ultimate guide to the best playgrounds and parks near cafes and restaurants in Perth! Kids love burning off energy at parks and playgrounds, and Perth’s got some of the best in the world. Best of all, playgrounds are FREE! Why not stop off for a coffee or bite to eat and make a day of it?

Why do we love playgrounds near cafes?

Kids love going wild in at a park. But sometimes parenting is hard or tiring, what with sleepless nights, teething and everything else. Sometimes parents and carers need to exercise self-care. Stopping at a family-friendly coffee shop or restaurant while taking the kids out to a playground can help. Adults can grab a much-needed coffee or bite to eat. Likewise, kids can enjoy a toy corner and very soon cut loose in the park. Everyone wins!

For this reasons, we’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee on the way. Don’t forget your reusable coffee mug!

Perched on the lively West Deck at Karrinyup Shopping Centre, The Cubby is a true “super Playground” and an easy favourite for families looking to combine shopping, dining and playtime. Part of Karrinyup’s huge redevelopment, this 950sqm outdoor play space feels more like a destination in its own right than a typical shopping centre Playground. The hero of the space is the enormous multi-level cubby house. At around 16 metres long and 5 metres high, it towers over the play area and instantly draws kids in. The structure is packed with ways to climb, slide and explore, including ladders, ropes, Read more…

Situated in the Shorehaven Estate is Shorehaven Boulevard Playground – a lovely, partially fenced playground that is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.
