Why do we love playgrounds near cafes?

Kids love going wild in at a park. But sometimes parenting is hard or tiring, what with sleepless nights, teething and everything else. Sometimes parents and carers need to exercise self-care. Stopping at a family-friendly coffee shop or restaurant while taking the kids out to a playground can help. Adults can grab a much-needed coffee or bite to eat.     Vale Adventure Park, Aveley

    

    Tucked along Egerton Drive in Aveley, Vale Adventure Park is a fantastic, activity-packed Playground that makes a brilliant family outing, especially if you’ve got children of different ages.     Bill McGrath Reserve, Kensington

    

    We discovered this great little park just around the corner from Little Banksia Cafe in Kensington. It has a lot of features including a nature play area and playground. The main play area is covered with shade sails and the nature play area is shaded naturally. The afternoon we went was warm so the natural shade and trees around the park were lovely.     Jackadder Lake Playground, Woodlands

    

    Jackadder Lake Playground is a picturesque park just north west of the city. This lovely lakeside spot features a shaded children’s playground, exercise equipment and paths perfect for bikes and scooters.  As of the beginning of August 2023, the playground has been refreshed with new climbing equipment, a new and improved juniors area, and new picnic facilities.  Miss 9 was excited to check out the new play equipment.
