If you are looking for cute sushi trains, you have to bring the kids to check out The Sushii Chef! Conveniently located at Victoria Park, The Sushii Chef’s sushi trains have to be one of the most adorable trains that you can find in Perth! Kids will be screaming with joy when they see sushi trains that resemble Transformers’ Optimus Prime truck, a double-decker bus and even a bullet train!
Stepping inside the well-lit restaurant, you are welcomed by the Japanese ambience! You can tell a lot of effort has been put into this place which has been nicely decorated with Japanese theme aesthetic props and painting from their walls to ceilings! Lots of tables are available for family and groups to share with access to their sushi train, which I really appreciate.
It is very easy to order via the tablet that is available on every table.
The sushi belt was loaded with a variety of sashimi and sushi. The sushi plates are reasonably priced from $4.80 – $6.80.
They also have handrolls that are made fresh to order, which is absolutely delicious!
I tried one of their Chef‘s Selection- Supreme Sudoku Omakase Set. It came in a 9-boxed bento box filled with their daily fresh sushi selection. The raw fish tasted delicate and fresh and I loved the novelty of it!
The Sushii Chef has a good range of hot food selections from tempura, rice bowls, bento boxes to udon noodles.
We tried the Karaage Chicken Don and their Curry Chicken Katsu Don. Tempura was nicely fried.
The girls loved having the sushi trains deliver our food to our table every time we placed an order.
You can’t forget to order one of their aesthetically pleasing drinks that comes with an ice teddy bear!
If dining in is not enough, they have a takeaway sushi counter available for their sushi rolls, too. Catering platters are also available on order.
Overall, it’s a great place for kids to enjoy the experience of the many fun characters’ sushi trains and a great joint for all sashimi lovers. The Sushii Chef is a kid’s friendly restaurant with baby chairs available and toilets conveniently located inside the shop. Free and paid street parking are available beside the restaurant.
