Sawasdee! Have you got a little foodie that loves to explore different cuisines? Why not take them to Perth Thailicious Restaurant in Northbridge to have a taste of authentic Thai street food? This modern, fine Thai cuisine restaurant is highly rated by Thai people here in Perth and has been serving up some of the best Thai dishes and culture since their opening in 2012.

The warm atmosphere and decorations in the restaurant instantly transport you to Thailand. Just like being in the land of smiles, the staffs are always full of smiles and are so friendly when serving.  From popular iconic Thai street food to the lesser known, your tastebuds will enjoy the fabulous taste of Thai food as you will be spoilt for choices with their huge variety in their menu. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available too, and I appreciated that the staff made sure to check our food allergies before taking our food orders.

There is a bar counter with imported Thai Beer and traditional Thai drinks in the restaurant too.

For the less adventurous children, they have a kid’s menu. The kid’s meal comes with either chicken nuggets or fish fingers (something that children might be more familiar with) and is decently priced.

Perth Thailicious Restaurant has a kid’s play area that’s fully fenced. The walls are vibrant in colour, and they have toddler-friendly toys for them to play with. Children can sit in there while enjoying their show on the TV. I like that they sit families near the play area so you can watch them while eating. The girls could even watch TV from our seats, which made dining a lot more peaceful.

We tried their classic dishes- Pad Thai Noodles, Thai Pineapple Fried Rice, Tom Yum Soup and Grilled Pork Skewers with Sticky Rice and Green Papaya Salad. The dishes use all authentic Thai herbs and spices, and the flavours are all well balanced. It is decently priced for its huge portion sizing. The girls enjoyed the pork skewers a lot, which was juicy and flavourful!

And you have to save some stomach space for dessert to try out their Sweet Pandan Sticky Rice with Mango- it was one of the best that we ever tried!

There is plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor, with baby chairs available. Toilets are located inside the restaurant with disabled toilets and a nappy change table. You can find free parking along the streets or paid parking in the nearest car park.
