The Manjimup Heritage Precinct is seriously impressive. There’s lots to do at this tourist hub – you can’t miss the 17 meter lookout tower and it’s HUGE silver slide. There’s museums too, including the brilliant Power Up museum. Next to this, and overlooking the Timber Adventure Playground, is a brilliant café – Park Manjimup.
The aptly named spot has a lovely modern feel and seating both inside and out. The bustling cafe is popular for breakfast, lunch and coffee and cake – with plenty of choice on the menu and in the cabinet.
We stopped by for brunch, while we were staying in town. Little Chef picked his favourite – a ham and cheese croissant, from the cabinet.
There’s a dedicated kids menu. High chairs are available too. The picnic boxes are perfect to enjoy in the park.
And the babycinos at Park Manjimup got the big thumbs up.
Both the food and coffee is very good quality. I loved my eggs benedict and the perfectly crisp bacon.
All in all, Park isn’t your average country café. The family friendly spot wouldn’t be out of place in the leafy inner suburbs of Perth and the Timber playground is a must stop spot.
