  Surrounding by a road and houses this sleepy hollow park is a gem of a find! It looks like many other parks in Perth with a playframe, slide, climbing, fireman’s pole, rocker, seasaw, swings etc.. Edwardes Park Nature Playground is an extension to the existing small playground and sits adjacent to a large oval. Made from recycled material it makes a nice addition to the suburban area and utilises material from the Henderson waste treatment facility. Edwardes Park Nature Playground features a double flying fox including one to suit disabled children with an access ramp. Fantasy Park at Waikiki is a large accessible park with plenty of play areas for kids to explore, a sensory garden with animal sculptures, a dog friendly park and also the home to Rockingham’s only disc golf course.   It felt like we were walking into a fortress at first. If you’re looking for somewhere near the beach for coffee and a play date, Coogee Beach Playground, with its ship themed play structure, could be just the place for you. The structure itself is mainly wooden with a sand pit base and features a wavy slide and rope ladders. There’s a rope bridge, a telescope and portholes to look through as well as an alphabet and numbers game. Based on the height of the playground, I’d say this one is for kids two and over.
