The Perth Royal Show is happening from Saturday 27 September through to Saturday 4 October 2025 and we are so excited! This year’s show is bigger than ever with 8 days of farm-to-city fun. Spending the day at the Perth Royal can be as cheap or as expensive as you wish to make it. If you want to experience The Perth Royal Show on a budget, here are our best tips to help you out:
Buy discounted tickets
While ticket prices have increased for 2025, there are still ways to save! Here’s the current pricing structure:
- Adult tickets are $46 + fees
- Children (aged 4-15) tickets are half price at $11.50 + fees
- Children aged 0-3 get FREE admission (but must have a ticket)
- Adult Bundle tickets are $40 each when you buy 4 or more – perfect for groups!
- After Dark tickets are $33 + fees for entry after 5pm – great value for evening entertainment
The Adult Bundle early bird pricing is available until 11:59pm, Friday, 12 September 2025, so book early to save!

Catch the Train
Save on fuel and parking costs by taking the train to Claremont Showgrounds. It’s hassle-free and the kids love it! A FamilyRider pass is still $10.40 and lasts all day. Up to seven people (two standard and five concession) can travel for the whole day, so there’s no need to buy a return ticket. Kids four years and younger travel on Transperth for FREE.
Additional trains with extra capacity will stop at Showgrounds Station throughout the week, with express services from Perth Station Platform 6/7.

2 for 1 Rides at Kids Luna Park
Visitors to the 2025 Perth Royal Show can take advantage of the 2-for-1 rides offer at Kids Luna Park. Kids Luna Park tokens purchased from 3 to 4 pm provide two rides for the price of one and can be used until 7 pm. Tokens are $8. Kids Luna Park is located on Loton Avenue. Food & Drink Samples/Specials and BYO Picnic
There are lots of options when it comes to food. You can pack your own picnic and set up a spot on the grass near the Main Arena to watch the goings-on there while you eat.
Grazeland is the Perth Royal Show’s ultimate new food and drink destination, featuring global cuisine, live cooking demos and educational shows on the Grazeland Stage. It’s a great place to discover samples and food specials.
The refreshed Yellow Brick Road offers a two-hour adventure trail blending fun, food and learning for just $15 with a keepsake backpack and collectables – great value family entertainment!
The Dairy Pavilion continues to offer opportunities to sample the finest cheeses, flavoured milk and yoghurt.

Catch a Free Show
There’s loads of FREE Entertainment at the show that is guaranteed to appeal to everyone!
Younger children will love the shows on the Little Growers Stage, whereas older kids will enjoy the thrills of the Monster Trucks Show on the Main Arena. The new Global Stage features music and dance from multicultural and community groups.
Plus, you’ll also find cooking demonstrations, cake decorating, shearing demonstrations, horse events, street entertainment, and the biggest Woodchop competition yet with a record-breaking $80,000 prize pool.

Experience the Enhanced Animal Nursery
Little animal lovers will delight in the reimagined Animal Nursery with more opportunities for farmyard cuddles, animal feeding, pig washing, and an exciting new farmyard photo booth. Plus there’s the new Cattle Corner where you can meet and pat cows and calves. All free!

Discover Smart Farms
Smart Farms is Australia’s newest agricultural technology exhibition, featuring high-tech activities for kids where they can design the future of WA food and farming – completely free educational entertainment!
Buy a Budget Showbag

Stay for the Evening Entertainment
Watch the Drone Show
Get ready for Perth’s closest drone show! Watch as amazing neon images come alive on the Main Arena at night. You can almost touch them! The Drone Show takes place at 7.30pm each night.

Stay for the Fireworks Spectacular
If you don’t mind a late night, the Fireworks Spectacular will not disappoint, which will be on every day of the show at 8.10pm.

Late Night Woody’s – This new late-night entertainment precinct keeps the fun going after the fireworks with Drag Bingo, Ceilidh (Celtic Bush Dance), and more unique entertainment.
Take Advantage of After Dark Tickets
After Dark tickets at $33 + fees offer fantastic value for entry after 5pm. You’ll get five hours of free entertainment on the main arena, access to Sideshow Alley, and the new Late Night Woody’s entertainment precinct.
