Spending the day at the Perth Royal can be as cheap or as expensive as you wish to make it. If you want to experience The Perth Royal Show on a budget, here are our best tips to help you out:
Buy discounted tickets
This year’s Perth Royal Show offers ticket prices of $33.50 for adults, $19 for children aged 5 to 15 years old, and free admission for children aged 4 and under. Families can purchase a ticket that covers 2 adults and 2 juniors or 1 adult and 4 juniors, which can save up to $41 on the entry fee. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of the “Twilight Ticket” that provides a discounted rate of $8 on adult tickets for entry after 5 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to experience the show while also saving some money.

Catch the Train
Save on fuel and parking costs by taking the train to Claremont Showgrounds. It’s hassle-free and the kids love it! A family rider pass is $10.30 and lasts all day. A Family Rider ticket that gives a group of up to seven people unlimited travel on the day of purchase, provided no more than two of them normally pay full fare. Kids four years and younger travel on Transperth for FREE.

2 for 1 Rides at Kids Luna Park
Visitors to the 2023 Perth Royal Show can take advantage of the 2-for-1 rides offer at Kids Luna Park. Ride tickets purchased from 3 to 4 pm provide two rides for the price of one and can be used until 7 pm. Additionally, visitors can pre-purchase ride tokens online in advance and receive a 10% discount off the $7 token price. Kids Luna Park is located on Loton Avenue. Food & Drink Samples/Specials and BYO Picnic
There are lots of options when it comes to food. You can pack your own picnic and set up a spot on the grass near the Main Arena to watch the goings-on there while you eat.
The Taste WA Pavillion to discover and taste award-winning WA produce. The WA Dairy Pavillion is a great opportunity to sample the finest cheeses, flavoured milk and yoghurt.
Catch a Free Show
There’s loads of FREE Entertainment at the show that is guaranteed to appeal to everyone!
Younger children will love the Hello Kitty and George the Farmer Stage Shows, whereas the older kids will enjoy the thrills of the BMX Activation display and the Wheel of Steel Circus Show. Plus, you’ll also find cooking demonstrations, cake decorating, shearing demonstrations, horse events, street entertainment … the list is exciting and endless.

Watch the Drone Show
Get ready for Perth’s closest drone show! Watch as amazing neon images come alive on the Main Arena at night. You can almost touch them! The Drone Show takes place at 7.50pm each night.
Stay for the Fireworks Spectacular
If you don’t mind a late night, the Flight Centre Fireworks Spectacular will not disappoint, which will be on every day of the show at 8.15pm.
