Miniature tabletop games such as Warhammer are a great choice of hobby that incorporates creative storytelling, self-expression, logic and mathematics in one immersive game. Lucky for us, there is a Warhammer shop in Perth City that introduces the game to the public. Not only do we get to experience playing the game in the shop, but they also offer a FREE build and paint experience, which you get to take home your free miniature figure!

Created by British miniature gaming company- Games Workshop, Warhammer has become the world’s greatest miniature game for everyone (young and old) to enjoy. Children aged eight and above can dive straight into the sci-fi fantasy worlds of the games. There is even the Warhammer Adventure books range specially created for them to read.
Anyone can enjoy the free build and paint experience in-store. No bookings required, just walk in! The staff explained to the girls about push-fit model building, and they got to build their first miniature figure with ease.
Once their miniature figures were done, they were able to get started painting with all the paints and tools provided. As it is a miniature, lots of concentration was used to paint those tiny details! In total, it took the girls about 20 minutes to finish one.
Next, the staff taught the girls how the games were played and how they could stage their epic battles too! The game uses multiple six-sided dice to calculate everything from movement to attacking, so the girls had to use their addition and subtraction skills quickly for each move.
If your children enjoyed the experience, they can get the starter kit (starting from $30) and start their painting and collection hobby. This is a game that the whole family can enjoy, whether battling each other or friends, in the comfort of their home or the community, and it never gets old.
