The cafeโs modern interior is busy, with plenty seating inside and out.ย It was a rainy winters day when I visited, and the cafe is quite open, so bear this in mind and dress warmly. Whether youโre catching up with friends or enjoying quality family time, it ticks many boxes. The menu at Cup and Co offers all the brunch favourites, chia granola, huevos rancheros, omelette, avo bruschetta, and more, with a focus on waffles. There’s a kid’s brunch/lunch deal for $15 too.ย
We started our late brekkie with a coffee and iced chocolate. The baristas here sure know what they are doing. My flat white provided the perfect pick-me-up to start the day, while Mr H enjoyed his extra-large iced chocolate.ย
For brunch, I ordered the eggs benny with bacon.ย A generous amount of bacon is served on toast, and topped with perfectly poached, runny eggs and creamy hollandaise sauce. Mr H enjoyed the slow cooked beef brisket waffles with runny poached eggs, smothered in a chipotle hollandaise, and sliced parmesan.ย
Cup and Co’s proximity to the rope playground at Perry Lakes means that after devouring a hearty meal, the kiddos can burn off their energy across the road, while parents relax with a second cup of coffee to take away.ย
