Looking for a fun-filled weekend activity for your little ones? Something that gets them moving, grooving, and socialising while you connect with other parents? Look no further than Toddler Jam at St Nicholas Anglican Church in Duncraig!
Running every Saturday from 9:30–11:00 am during school terms, this music and movement session is perfect for toddlers and young children who love to dance, sing, and play. It’s a fantastic weekend option for families who can’t make weekday activities but still want something engaging, active, and social to burn off that endless toddler energy!
Pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited to 25 families per session (no walk-ins). Upon arrival, you’ll check in and collect your name tag stickers for the whole family—making it easy to connect with others. Before the session starts, you can play or read a book with your child until the bell song signals it’s time to begin.
A friendly and energetic leader guides the session, demonstrating fun dance moves while lyrics appear on a big screen. The mix of familiar and new songs keeps kids engaged, and props like musical instruments and a giant parachute add extra excitement. Even the shiest little ones can’t resist joining in!
Morning Tea & Play (10:30 – 11:00 am)
After all that dancing, it’s time to wash hands and enjoy a simple morning tea—fruit and crackers for the kids, coffee/tea and cookies for parents. Families can relax outside in a shaded area, where little ones can explore the sandpit, cubby house, scooters, and bikes.
Indoors, there are play zones with blocks, dinosaurs, dolls, and more, making it a wonderful social experience for both kids and parents.
