New shaded areas have been added along with pool sun loungers so you can pretend to be on vacation! Located in Whiteman Park, Revolutions Transport Museum showcases Western Australia’s fascinating land transport history through the remarkable Whiteman Collection. The Village West Playground at Whiteman Park has undergone a complete reconstruction with all new play equipment and shade sails. It’s a perfect park for summer days with almost the entire park covered by shade. It is still fully fenced with only one open entrance near the picnic tables. There are three main play equipment areas surrounded by a soft fall walkway which is painted with train tracks and great for little ones pretending to be a train. There is so much to see and do at Caversham Wildlife Park! Feed the kangaroos, see the penguins being fed, gets photos with a koala, meet a wombat, possum, python and many more at the interactive meet & greet, play with the goats, join in the Farm Show (have you ever milked a cow before?!), and so much more! Whiteman Park Dog Park is a little known secret among the dog community The fully fenced and grassed 2.5-hectare playground has a doggie obstacle course and plenty of natural shade from mature trees. There’s even a separate enclosure for smaller dog breeds. There’s a 500m walkway around the circumference of the park so you can exercise yourself as well as your friend. Located in Whiteman Park, the Motor Museum of WA showcases over 200 historic vehicles spanning from the late 19th century to present day. Home to Daniel Ricciardo’s Red Bull F1 Racing Car and rare vintage automobiles, the museum features both locally significant vehicles and internationally renowned examples. Open daily 10am-4pm (closed Christmas Day), the recently expanded 2,000-square-meter facility offers an extensive collection of cars and motorcycles.
