In the middle of Victoria Park along busy Albany Hwy you will find Read Park. It is a lovely green, shady park situated next to the Victoria Park Community garden. The play equipment has been situated away from the highway and one of the play areas is enclosed with a fence. The area also has toilets, including an accessible toilet, drink fountain, rubbish bins and bench seats. Vic Park Farmers Market Every Sunday from 8am to 12noon, under the beautiful Morton Bay fig trees you will find an array of stall holders selling locally sourced fresh produce, fresh baked goods, gourmet and organic foods and artisan products. John McMillan Park is a fantastic location with playgrounds for kids, plenty of shade under the large fig trees and loads of parking right next door. Read more…

McCallum Park is a large, but seemingly underused, park located near that difficult to negotiate junction between Shepperton Road and Canning Hwy. It’s accessed from Taylor St (off Canning Hwy) and there are plenty of parking spaces (some shaded) on both Taylor St. and the adjacent Garland St. Toilets (LHS) and parking on Taylor St. There are male and female toilets on both Taylor and Garland Streets and these were….well…what you would expect in a park.
