The ultimate guide to the best playgrounds and parks in Perth! Kids love burning off energy at parks and playgrounds, and Perth’s got some of the best in the world. We’ve seen many new super parks open up recently with some impressive play equipment, features and facilities. Best of all, they’re all FREE!
We’ve listed sand and no-sand parks as we know this can be an issue with some parents not wanting their kids to play in sand. We’ve added categories to filter parks with water features, enclosed fenced playgrounds, partly fenced and non-fenced. Those with open water where you can visit the ducks and enjoy some wildlife during your trip to the park. Many parks have toilets. However, some local community playgrounds don’t, which can be a deal breaker if you’re potty training your little one or want to stay longer than an hour. Located at Mullaloo Beach foreshore closest to the Mullaloo Beach Hotel and Mullaloo lifesaving club, the Mullaloo Beach Pirate playground is sand based with excellent shade coverage. The playground its self consists of a wooden ship and a wooden boat where kids minds can run wild with role-play of being pirates out to sea. Surrounding by a road and houses this sleepy hollow park is a gem of a find! It looks like many other parks in Perth with a playframe, slide, climbing, fireman’s pole, rocker, seasaw, swings etc.. There’s even a fully fenced pond/water feature What makes this park truly interesting is this!! Yes it’s a Hobbit Hole and tunnel!
