Whether you are heading into the city for a day out with the kids or have just finished seeing an exhibition like we did, Stories Perth is a fantastic spot to stop for a delicious meal and some fun. Conveniently located in the heart of the CBD, Stories offers something for everyone, from great food and drinks to a family friendly play area that is sure to be a hit with the little ones.
Spread over five spacious storeys, Stories features three restaurants, nine bars, a pop-up taco bar, and the CBD’s largest beer garden. The beer garden is especially recommended for families as it’s home to the venue’s playground. Parents will love the shaded outdoor seating right next to the play area, which makes it easy to relax with a drink and a meal while keeping an eye on the kids.
The playground is compact but well-designed and caters for a range of ages. While the top level was a little challenging for our one and three-year-olds, they absolutely loved the lower level, especially the rope and climbing frame.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious.
I opted for the crispy skin salmon, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. The kids shared a generous serving of pasta, and my husband chose a pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
