If your family loves summer fun and big, feel-good moments, you can head to Perth’s Outback Splash for their New Year’s Eve Family Party Day. Across the day, basketball legends Damian Martin and Jesse Wagstaff will hit the court for a Pool Side Slam – and if they sink the shot into the inflatable pool hoop, everyone in the park scores a free ticket to Outback Splash, so you’ll want to be there to “bring the noise” and cheer them on.

Traditionally the biggest event on their calendar, you’re encouraged to enter from Hackett Drive South to help ease queues, with extra spectator parking opened in Carpark 1 beside the tennis courts. Once you’re parked up, you can grab a coffee, stroll the grounds and admire some of Perth’s best vehicles in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Entry proceeds support the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, with $10 per car and $5 per motorbike, while spectators are always welcome for free.
