Did you know that just 10 10-minute drive from Gnomesville in Wellington Mill, lies a secret spot in the bushland that’s populated with frogs of all shapes and sizes? Frog’s Hollow, located in Mosedale Park, Lowden, just right across the Preston Valley Store (shop is sadly not open anymore) at the corner of Donnybrook- Boyup Brook Road and Ferguson Road, is definitely the next Gnomesville in the making!

It is said that since 2016, frogs have appeared one by one, and they are now in their hundreds and growing! Although it doesn’t have the same population as Gnomesville, there are still plenty of frogs of all kinds to be spotted at Frog’s Hollow.

Here you can find frog families, ceramic frogs, stuffed frogs, some interesting-looking frogs and funny and serious frogs! Go on a hunt for them beside the bushes, under the rocks, in the hollow or up the trees!

Anyone is welcome to bring their own frogs to Frog’s Hollow, provided they are within the designated area and do not interfere with the existing frogs. You can also visit Donnybrook Visitor Centre for a map to Frog’s Hollow and get a frog memento to be placed here if you have forgotten yours.

Make sure to add this as one of your stops when visiting Donnybrook and Ferguson Valley!
Tips:
Make sure to dress appropriately with covered shoes. Unlike Gnomesvilles, there are no elevated boardwalks here, so it is not pram-friendly.
As it is a walk inside the bushland, there might be mosquitoes and bugs, so make sure to wear repellent if necessary.
There is no car park in this park, so parking is found along the main road.
There are sheltered picnic benches here, perfect for a quick picnic break; however, there are no toilets in this park. The nearest toilet will be found at Gnomesville.
