Eden Beach Foreshore Playground in Jindalee is a standout coastal play space, perched above the sparkling Indian Ocean at the end of Reflection Boulevard. Set within the Eden Beach estate, the Playground overlooks the foreshore and is surrounded by beautifully landscaped parkland, making it a gorgeous spot for families to enjoy both the park and the beach in one outing.

The main drawcard for big kids is the huge enclosed tube slide, reached by climbing up a series of multi-level cubes and nets. Confident climbers will love scaling the different ladders, nets and platforms before shooting back down the slide, and thereโs a firemanโs pole and other quirky features to keep adventurous children entertained. Because the slide is metal and the Playground is so close to the coast, itโs worth checking how hot the equipment is on warmer days and aiming for morning or late-afternoon play in summer.

Younger children are well catered for with a separate toddler-friendly area that includes a smaller slide, swings and a sand play zone.

The sand base is perfect for digging and building, and the mix of low-level equipment means little ones can explore at their own pace while older siblings tackle the higher climbing structures. Paths around the park are pram-friendly, so itโs easy to move between areas with babies and toddlers in tow.

Facilities at Eden Beach Foreshore Playground make it easy to settle in for a few hours. There are several covered picnic shelters with tables, barbecues and a large grassed open space ideal for ball games, picnics and running off extra energy. Toilets are conveniently located across from the park, and there is a drinking fountain on site. Parking includes a small car park plus verge parking along nearby streets; it can get busy on warm weekends and sunny afternoons, so be prepared for a short walk if you arrive at peak times.

One of the big bonuses of this Playground is how close it is to the beach and local dining. A short stroll takes you down to Eden Beach itself, so families can easily mix playtime with a paddle or beach walk, keeping in mind coastal conditions and any current patrol information. Right alongside the foreshore park is The Beach House, a large beachside bar and eatery that opens from breakfast through to dinner, serving coffee, snacks, meals and sunset drinks with sweeping ocean views. Itโs an ideal spot to grab a takeaway coffee while the kids play, or to finish your visit with a relaxed family meal overlooking the water.

Eden Beach Foreshore Playground also links into a wider network of walking and cycling paths throughout the estate, making it a pleasant destination for a scooter ride or family walk. For kids who just canโt get enough climbing, the nearby Eden Beach ropes-style Playground further within the estate offers another stop to extend your adventure.

With its combination of coastal views, varied play equipment for different ages and solid family-friendly facilities, Eden Beach Foreshore Playground is well worth a visit, especially if you love pairing Playground fun with a beachy, holiday-feel atmosphere.
