Kids love a good scooter and bike park! Children get to practise their riding in a safe environment. Many have great features such as simulated roads with stop signs and petrol pumps. Great for imaginative play! Plus you can start teaching some bike safety skills. Others are more challenging with pump tracks and jumps.
In addition, we’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee on the way. Don’t forget your reusable coffee mug! 😉
Carine Open Space Playground remains a much‑loved local gem for families, dog walkers and young riders, with plenty of space to explore and play. Set within the broader Carine Open Space reserve on Davallia Road, it’s the kind of place where you can easily spend a whole morning or afternoon, especially if you bring scooters, bikes and the family dog. A big drawcard is the network of paths that loop around the main Playground area and wetlands. Marri Park is a great little spot to take the kids to burn off some extra energy. This park is also dog-friendly, so you could even bring your fur baby along. There is a large grass oval with soccer goals at the top end of the park, so don’t forget your ball for a kick around. There are footpaths that run around the outside, as well as through the middle of the playground. Miss 4 loved riding her bike around with her friends.
