Community Planting Day – McKanna Reserve

Celebrate National Tree Day at McKanna Reserve in Parmelia as we plant thousands of native seedlings to improve habitat for our endangered Black Cockatoos.
ReWilding is helping to bring nature back into our cities where vegetation has often been lost over time. Take home some native seedlings to bolster your own garden and enjoy a light lunch at the end (please advise of any dietary requirements).
- Wear clothing appropriate for the weather including long sleeves and enclosed shoes
- Gloves and planting tools will be provided, however you’re welcome to bring your own gloves if you wish.
- Road parking will be available along McKanna Gardens and Parmelia Ave.
Registration is essential.
This project is jointly funded by the Australian Government Natural Heritage Trust, Perth Natural Resource Management, a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery Partners panel, and The City of Kwinana.
