Using clay, you’ll create your own characters, develop your story and produce your very own short film while learning the basics of stop-motion animation. It’s a fun blend of art and technology, ideal for curious and creative minds. Exploring the Museum’s galleries for inspiration, sketching your story with a simple storyboard, building and animating clay characters and scenes, creating and editing your film using animation software, and sharing your finished masterpiece with the group before taking it home. Materials and technical equipment are provided; participants need to bring lunch, a water bottle and a 4GB USB to take their film home.
