An Afternoon at Lake Claremont

An Afternoon at Lake Claremont is an opportunity to enjoy an autumn afternoon at Lake Claremont.
This free community event will feature eco activities and live entertainment, including a performance of Djinda Kaatijin (to understand stars), which is a collection of short Dreaming stories from various countries around the world by Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company.
An Afternoon at Lake Claremont is part of the WA Tree Festival program.
The 2026 WA Tree Festival is sponsored by the Government of Western Australia, with the support of WALGA and Perth NRM.
Stage program
- 3:30pm – Welcome address and Welcome to Country with Denice Kickett
- 3:45pm – Live Music with Charlie Youngson
- 4:30pm – Djinda Kaatijin (ton understand stars) performance by Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company
- 5:20pm – Q&A with Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company performers
