New Years Eve Celebration – City of Rockingham Summer Series

Don’t miss the explosive New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Rockingham Foreshore. With food vans, rides and games, plus two fireworks performances at 9pm and midnight, there’s something for everyone. Headliners Eskimo Joe will perform in the lead up to the midnight fireworks, supported by PUMP, VHS Pirates, AbbaFab, and local acts. The event will finish after the midnight fireworks. If coming by train, catch the 555 bus from the Rockingham train station, running every 15 minutes for this event. Check the timetable to plan your journey. The Village Green will be open for over flow parking from 4pm until full. Check out our handy map of parking at the foreshore for all other parking options.

Here’s the good news: Our New Year’s Eve Celebration event and fireworks can still go ahead on Friday night. The bad news: We can no longer hold the concert headlined by Eskimo Joe and supported by AbbaFab, VHS Pirates, PUMP and a number of other local acts. 😔
The latest State Government restrictions mean we have had to cancel the music element of our event, but there will still be plenty of family-friendly fun to be had. There will be fireworks at 9pm and midnight, free amusement activities for the kids until 9pm, and a selection of food vendors available until 12am.
We strongly encourage people to wear a mask where physical distancing is not possible and to check-in using the Safe WA app. The fireworks will be able to be seen from many vantage points along the coastline, not just Churchill Park, so there are plenty of options to physically distance while enjoying the display with family and friends.
