If you’re looking for a fun, engaging, and energy-burning activity for your little one, Let’s Jump & Jive at Trinity North Uniting Church in Greenwood (20 mins North of Perth) is an absolute must! Held every Tuesday morning with two back-to-back sessions at 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM, this music and movement program for kids under five is the perfect way to start your day with music, dancing, and a whole lot of fun.

We first started coming when my youngest was still a baby, and my toddler needed a space to get some of that endless energy out. Now, both my little ones love it! It’s a fully interactive experience where parents and caregivers join in too—think holding skipping ropes, pool noodles, and playing with props alongside the kids.

Upon arrival, families sign in for each session and, if it’s your first time that year, you’ll complete a one-time enrolment form for your child. The cost is $6 per family (cash or card), but if you plan to come often, they offer a fantastic 10-session card for $54, giving you one free entry!

Each session is 30 minutes long, packed with around 15 fun songs that change each term based on a theme. Right now, in Term 1, the theme is ‘In the Island,’ so expect lots of fun ocean and water-themed songs. There’s even a special birthday song—if it’s your child’s birthday week, they’ll be included!

The best part? Props like shakers, pom-poms, and other fun items are handed out to make the experience even more interactive. And, of course, there’s always a bubbling song—a crowd favourite! Watching little ones chase and pop bubbles with pure excitement is a highlight every week.

As a parent, I love knowing that everything is clean and well-maintained. The props and equipment used during sessions are cleaned between groups. The hygiene standards here are great, making it a safe and welcoming space for young children.

After all that dancing and jumping, it’s time to refuel! Once the session ends, families leave the hall and get a squirt of hand sanitiser before heading to the morning tea station. There’s a selection of fruit cups, tea, and coffee, so both little ones and parents can recharge.

The venue is well-equipped with clean bathroom facilities, including baby change tables, making it easy for families to attend comfortably.

If you have an under-five and love music, movement, and making memories, I highly recommend Let’s Jump & Jive! You can find more info on their Facebook page — just search for Let’s Jump & Jive.

We love it, and I’m sure you will too!
