Improved weekly live trivia sessions for all students – be a part of our online community

Your child will design an engaging platformer game (similar to Mario Bros.), and then bring it to life with intuitive, yet
powerful, drag and drop code. Learning the fundamentals of coding gives children the confidence and knowledge to be in control with technology – not just as a passive consumer, but as a creator, problem solver, and digital storyteller.

What level should I enrol my child into?

We’ve split our courses into first time/returning students. This is to ensure students have the opportunity to progress each time we release new content. If your child is new to Code Camp Online After-School, we recommend starting with a ‘new students’ program.

Our advanced courses are for children aged 8 – 12 that have previously attended at least two of our regular after-school terms or those who have completed our Ignite holiday program (or above) – this is due to the inclusion of JavaScript in this session. If you’re unsure which session is right for your child, get in touch and we’ll get back to you right away.

How does it work?

We’re hosting each session via YouTube Live, a platform most kids use on a regular basis. Our instructor will host the session like one of our regular after-school classes and your child will be able to communicate any issues they’re having in real time via our Live Chat feature.

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve successfully run online sessions for more than 2,500 kids using this method and we’ve made several improvements following valuable feedback from parents like you. We’re totally confident your kids will love this new format, and we hope you do too!
