Daytonian Board Game – Halloween

Sunday, 27 October, 1.30pm to 5.30pm
Dayton Community Centre, 63 St Leonard’s Boulevard, Dayton

Welcome to Daytonian Board Game Community!

The creation of this group started from the love of board games. I want to channel through board games to connect our local community in Dayton WA and our neighbourhood suburbs together.

I am a modern board game enthusiast. My vision is to introduce and teach our community with all ages board games, and create a safe and friendly space for everyone to bond together. Technology these days might make it easier for everyone to reach each other, however it actually pushes us further and further away from each other. No matter is children or adults, socialising and making new friends become such a difficult task for all of us.

If you are interested to find another means to keep your children or maybe yourself away from the electronic devices, or, if you interested to meet some new friends, or, if you just want to have some fun, Come and join us in our monthly gathering!

If you get in touch with us before the gathering, I can prepare a game that you might enjoy. No matter it’s cooperation, competitive, duet, solo, party, dice, I would love to find the game to help you to get into the modern board game world!

We don’t tolerate racist, political or sexist remarks either, so please treat each other with respect. It’s ok to have heated discussions but keep things friendly and mature. We are all here to have fun and talk about the hobby we love.

Other than that, we’re happy to have you. Game on!!

This is a monthly not-for-profit event proudly supported by Lean Into It: Youth Grief Support and The Grief Centre of Western Australia. This event will be using a “Humble and Play” system. Donation is greatly appreciated for us to maintain resources, organise giveaway, create a board game library for the community and donate money to Grief Centre!

The Grief Centre of Western Australia was created to provide Understanding, Support and Recovery to people experiencing grief. They are committed to helping those suffering and advocate on their behalf to change the way grief is viewed and responded to in the community.
