Summer Splash

Returning to Karawara in 2026 Summer Splash is going to be bigger and better than ever!
When: Thursday 29th January
⏰ Time: 2pm to 5pm
♂️ Who: 12 – 18 year olds
Where: George Burnett Reserve (behind the Leisure Centre)
Cost: FREE!
Grab your water guns, rally your crew, and get ready for the ultimate Summer Splash!
This is your chance to cool off with an epic water fight featuring ALL attendees—so bring your A-game and prepare to get soaked!
♂️ Challenge your mates on the huge inflatable water slide—whether you’re racing your friends or just sliding into fun, it’s a guaranteed blast!
Dunk tank, slip and slide and other fun water games included.
Chill Out Zone featuring giant games, giveaways and mindfulness activities.
Refuel after the fun with a free sausage sizzle & icy poles, generously served by South Perth Youth Network
What to Bring:
- If possible, please bring your own water toys/guns. There will be a few available for those who do not have any, but if you are able to we do encourage you to byo!
- A towel and change of clothes
What to Wear:
- Wear clothes and shoes that you’re happy to get wet
- Please wear a hat and sunscreen as it will be a hot day in the sun!

Summer Splash is part of the Kaya Karawara, a series a free events for local young people aged 12 – 18 years. Registration required. Priority will be given to people living, or going to school within the City of South Perth – so if you live in Karawara, Manning, Como, Kensington, South Perth, Salter Point or Waterford, we’d love to see you. Parents are welcome to spectate at this event but unfortunately can not participate.

SPYN is a group of passionate and committed young people who want to make a difference in the community. SPYN organises local events, volunteering opportunities and meets regularly to discuss the issues that impact young people in the City of South Perth.
