There’s a new (opened November 2023) playground in the Perth foothills suburb of Bushmead! While it’s much smaller than the estate’s “Giant Park”, the Treetop Park Playground has plenty of equipment for kids that love to explore and climb. It’s shaded by mature trees too!
The 6-meter timber tower structure features a tube slide (currently under repair – Dec ’23).
Very small children may have trouble reaching this, as there’s a steep ladder to climb to get to it.
Hopefully the slide is fixed soon!
Little kids can easily walk up the ramp and use the smaller slide instead.
The long, wide and flat ramp make accessibility for parents easy too, and features play equipment along it, including a fireman’s pole, climbing net, stepping logs and more.
A next swing is sure to please all kids.
Little kids will be sure to find the shop window, always good for a bit of imaginative play.
There’s monkey bars too, and plenty of other things to keep the kids occupied and exploring for a while.
For parents and carers, there’s good facilities including a couple of sheltered picnic tables and BBQs.
The long table makes it great for a group gathering or kids birthday party.
The Treetop Park Playground in Bushmead is quite hidden from the road and is in the part of the estate reached by the easterly entrance, close to the bottom of the Zig Zag.
While you’re in Bushmead, be sure to check out the brilliant Giant Playground.
Plus, the wonderful Zanthorrea Garden Centre (with a fun sculpture walk and playground) is less than a five-minute drive away!
If you live in the area, Treetop Park Playground is well worth checking out.
