As a mum of a busy 2-year-old toddler, I couldn’t be more thrilled with Joondalup Square playground, located opposite the gigantic Bunnings Warehouse. Located at Pinneroo Point is a playground suitable for younger children. The sand-based playground features a climbing frame with two slides, a rope ladder and monkey bars. There is a super cute Pinnaroo Point play cafe which I am sure will be popular for imaginative play. There are two swings, one of which is high backed. A cubby climbing structure. The Hillarys Beach Club has now opened right next to the playground. As well as two restaurants, there is a takeaway coffee window – perfect for those visiting the playground or beach. We hope to visit soon to give you Read more…
Seacrest Park in Sorrento ticks a lot of boxes for parents and carers. Fully fenced playground – tick. Large range of playground equipment suitable for various ages – tick. A picnic table and seating within the fenced space – double tick. So it’s unsurprising the area can get a little busy, especially after school. But its big, with enough different activities that it doesn’t feel crowded. The play space is predominantly sand, with soft fall around the edge and at the swing set. The main play structure has stairs that toddlers can navigate without much help and a platform to Read more…
