As of the end of 2021, a brand new playground suitable for younger children has sprung up at Pinneroo Point!
The sand-based playground features a climbing frame with two slides, a rope ladder and monkey bars.
There is a super cute Pinnaroo Point play cafe which I am sure will be popular for imaginative play.
There are two swings, one of which is high backed.
A cubby climbing structure.
Although at first glance the playground appears to be fully fenced and gated, which is always a win when it’s located next to a car park and beach access, unfortunately, it is open on one side so if you are a parent of a child that likes to bolt then you still need to keep a close eye on them. Also, there is currently no shade over the playground. They have planted large trees around the perimeter but it will be a few years before they are able to provide adequate shade.
Next to the playground are a couple of picnic shelters and a toilet block.
Don’t forget to pack your bathers – Pinnaroo Point is such a gorgeous beach!
