Set a reminder! One of Perth’s premier community events- The Canning Show is returning on 31st October and 1st of November 2025 at the Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds. Operated by the not-for-profit Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society, you don’t want to miss the Canning Show which has been a local favourite for over 110 years!
This year, you can expect them to bring the country to Canning with action-packed performances, tons of free children activities (from farm animals, pony rides to petting zoo and crafts), huge exhibitions (such as Legos, creative arts’ displays, to agricultural events), delicious food stalls and markets, carnival games and rides and spectacular fireworks on both nights!
What we love:
Children can enjoy a variety of free children’s activities around the showground. From silent disco, face painting, crafts and games to interacting with farm animals.
Stay and Play Zone: Children can play in the massive sandpit while parents can rest and watch from the sidelines.
Live music and roving entertainment for the young and old to enjoy.
Cool carnival games and rides for the whole family to enjoy, and don’t forget about the showbags! There’s also a sensory space for those who need a quiet moment during the Show.
Checking out one of WA’s biggest agricultural shows inside the pavilions to see the competitive entries of home cooking and stunning horticulture displays.
