Baby Rhyme Time – Armadale
Spend quality time with your little ones and encourage their early literacy skills with songs and rhymes, as the City of Armadale Libraries host weekly Rhyme Time sessions.
The rhythm and repetition of rhymes helps babies and children learn about words, sounds and language. Bounce and sing along with your baby to some favourite nursery rhymes, and learn some new tunes to entertain and educate your baby at home.
Sessions are suitable for babies aged zero to two years. Siblings are welcome.
Bookings are not required.
Childcare centres and groups must contact the library beforehand if planning to attend.
Please leave prams at home when possible as space is limited.
These sessions are subject to change and will not occur on public holidays or if the library is closed. Sessions are not held between Christmas and New Year.

Music Makers Just for Minis is an engaging craft and music play-based experience for children aged 2- to 5- years old.
Music Makers Just for Minis (Eden Hill)
Music Makers Just for Minis combines crafting and music to create engaging play-based experiences that are just perfect for children aged 3 to 5 years old.
Join us in fun-filled 40-minute sessions where your little one first creates a craft project which is then used in our music project of the day. Each week, we have a different theme, so our craft projects and music experiences are constantly changing!
We seriously get into our crafting, so we encourage you both wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
We also love our musical experiences, so do not be surprised if we get moving and grooving in these sessions.
Please wear clothes that do not restrict your movements or ones that are too loose or fall down your body.
Your little one will explore the fundamentals of crafting (including gross and fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, cognitive development and sensory integration) and music (including rhythm, pitch, intonation and aural skills) each session - and they get to keep and take home each week's craft project as their session keepsake!
These sessions are created and co-led by industry experts, including our arts facilitator, Pippa, and our music facilitator, Patricia, who are dedicated to your creative learning journey and the development of your creative expression.
This is not a 'drop-and-leave' session, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, so mums, dads, grandparents and carers are all welcome!
Only 25 tickets available.
Cost: FREE, thanks to the support of Healthway and CITS! Your free ticket includes entry for carer and child, music maker/craft materials.

Caregiver Participation
We want your child to get the most out of our Music Maker Just for Minis sessions, so we encourage you to join in at the sessions.
It's more than OK to make mistakes and to explore at Music Maker Just for Minis. Modelling, singing along and attempting the crafts are all a part of the process. They help to build your child's confidence and assist in their developmental goals.
These sessions are all about exploring creativity and learning core skills essential for future school successes.
Joining in also creates one-in-a-lifetime bonding moment for you and your little one, too. And if you get stuck, don't fear. Our facilitators are there to answer all the questions and to help you out if you need assistance.
Plus, we've started developing learning packs and at-home resources to help build skills and confidence in between our sessions.

Baby Rhyme Time – Kelmscott
Spend quality time with your little ones and encourage their early literacy skills with songs and rhymes, as the City of Armadale Libraries host weekly Rhyme Time sessions.
The rhythm and repetition of rhymes helps babies and children learn about words, sounds and language. Bounce and sing along with your baby to some favourite nursery rhymes, and learn some new tunes to entertain and educate your baby at home.
Sessions are suitable for babies aged zero to two years. Siblings are welcome.
Bookings are not required.
Childcare centres and groups must contact the library beforehand if planning to attend.
Please leave prams at home when possible as space is limited.
These sessions are subject to change and will not occur on public holidays or if the library is closed. Sessions are not held between Christmas and New Year.
