This program will be held in the Children's Space, Ruth Faulkner Library

Books, rhymes and songs help babies and toddlers to develop early literacy skills and a love of language. We also provide puzzles and toys after each session encouraging families to chat, stay and play together.

Tickets are not required for this free program.

Please note:

• ​To enable a safe, enjoyable experience at our library events children aged 11 and under must be supervised at all times by a parent, guardian or carer

This 3-session parenting program is designed to celebrate just how amazing toddlers truly are.

Spend quality time with your little ones and encourage their early literacy skills with songs and rhymes, as the City of Armadale Libraries host weekly Rhyme Time sessions.

The rhythm and repetition of rhymes helps babies and children learn about words, sounds and language. Bounce and sing along with your baby to some favourite nursery rhymes, and learn some new tunes to entertain and educate your baby at home.

Sessions are suitable for babies aged zero to two years. Siblings are welcome.

Bookings are not required.

Childcare centres and groups must contact the library beforehand if planning to attend.

Please leave prams at home when possible as space is limited.

Story Time sessions foster a love of reading, stimulate the imagination and encourage social interaction with other children.

Hear stories, sing songs and enjoy a craft activity together. These sessions encourage children’s literacy skills to prepare them for school.

Christina and Story Dog Buddy visit the Library on Monday afternoons from 4pm to 5pm. Come along and pick up a book to read to Buddy - or sometimes, one of Buddy's friends!
