Looking for a FREE family-friendly morning out? Head to the River Guardians Family Festival, South Perth Swan River/Derbarl Yerrigan foreshore
This relaxed outdoor event brings together local environmental organisations, wildlife experts and hands-on activities designed especially for kids.
Enjoy a full morning of FREE nature play with Nature Play WA, including cubby building, mud kitchens and creative outdoor play. Kids can also explore interactive stalls featuring native bees, wildlife, turtles, snakes, lizards, birdlife and more.
Plenty for parents too, a live “Community Conversation” panel with local ABC Gardening experts Josh Byrne and Sabrina Hahn, sharing practical ways families can help protect the environment and our rivers.
Plus, there will be talks, interviews and activities running throughout the morning.
Perfect for young families, this is a great opportunity to have a morning coffee by the iconic Swan River, get outdoors, learn something new, let the kids play and connect with nature.
