PrideFEST Skate Park Have-A-Go Day – McCallum Park

Thanks to the Town of Victoria Park!
Freestyle now will be facilitating a fun and casual have a go style coaching session at McCallum Park Skatepark for skateboard, scooter, BMX and rollerskate participants. Our sessions are all about creating a welcoming space where anyone can roll up, have a go, and feel supported. Instead of focusing only on tricks or skills, our crew works with each rider at their own level, helping build confidence first and foremost. We keep it fun and easygoing—sharing tips, giving encouragement, and making sure everyone feels included. Along the way we chat about helmets, safety, and how to ride the park respectfully. The Freestyle Now team is there to share advice, demo some tricks, and help participants progress at their own pace while enjoying the good vibes of the session.
Freestyle Now will bring a limited supply of skateboards and scooters, participants should aim to bring their own equipment. Own helmet and closed in shoes are required. Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate. Our coaches may be able to assist with some minor adjustments (Scooter/BMX Bar straightening, skate/rollerskate truck/wheel tightening) before the session starts if required and time permitting.
Participants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus.
