Draught Proofing Your Home
As we move into the season of cooler weather, join us for a workshop exploring how we can make our homes more comfortable and energy efficient. We’ll look at simple, budget-friendly fixes and effective temporary modifications alongside more substantial retro-fitting options, making this workshop suitable for both homeowners and renters.
In particular we’ll discuss:
- locating draughts and fixing gaps
- installing window and door seals,
- minimising the circulation of cold air inside the home,
- choosing appropriate window coverings
- external modifications to the home to increase eco-efficiency
- assessing insulation options
- maintaining adequate ventilation to prevent mould build-up
This event is being run in partnership between Enviro House, Electrify Bayswater and the City of Bayswater.
