Perth’s very first Japanese mochi donuts shop, Mimochi has opened its second store at Morley.
Mochi donuts are like the hybrid between American donuts and Japanese mochi which gives it the unique chewy texture in the centre yet retaining its fluffiness on the inside and crispiness on the outside. It’s an addictive texture that makes you crave for more once you had a bite, and before long you’ll be hooked to it!
At Mimochi, fresh donuts are made in-store every day, and 12 different flavours rotate monthly, so there’s always something new to try!
The available doughnuts are on display on their counter, and each looks irresistibly delicious.
You can’t go wrong with these classic flavours like the plain, original sugar, original glazed, white choc, milk choc or dark choc. Their limited-edition donut showcases their creative take on unique Asian flavours such as Thai milk tea and Matcha, and popular desserts like apple crumble donuts are some of their best sellers.
Mimochi donuts are best consumed within the day and taste incredibly soft and airy with each bite just bounces in your mouth. I like that the donuts are not overly sweet and it’s the perfect size for the kids to enjoy. *Mimochi donuts does contains gluten, diary and eggs.
You can get them in singles or they come in a pack of 4, 6 and 12. These bubbles ring donuts are great for after school treats and also make the perfect gifts for someone special. You can pre order their donuts online and catering request is available which is great for birthday parties!
They have drinks options available in store and takeaway too.
The store itself is spacious compared to the one in Vic Park. There is a couple of seats to choose from if you wishes to dine in. The drawing board caught the girl’s attention while we were there. They got to design their donuts with the colouring sheets provided while we waited.
Plenty of parking are available in the carpark which is just right in front of the store. Toilets are located at the nearest shopping centre around it.
