    Tucked just off Charles Riley Road beside the North Beach Community Centre and sports fields, Charles Riley Reserve is a welcoming, leafy spot for a relaxed play. Manicured lawns and landscaped gardens surround a small war memorial, and behind this you’ll find the sand-based Playground, shaded by blue shade sails and bordered by young trees and garden beds. It has a friendly, local feel and is especially popular with toddlers and grandparents on weekday mornings. The Playground surface is mostly clean white sand with some purple soft-fall areas, so it’s ideal for little ones who are still finding their feet. Read more…

    Located at the Stirling Community Centre, Charles Riley Memorial Reserve (7A Kitchener St, North Beach), this community-run toy library is open every Saturday from 9:00am to 10:00am. The library maintains a collection of over 600 quality toys, games, puzzles, and dress-ups for children aged 0-7 years. Annual family membership costs $70 and includes: Borrowing up to 8 items at a time Healthcare card discounts available Four volunteer sessions required per year Access to their online catalogue system for toy renewals and volunteer shift scheduling Special Party Kit available for birthday celebrations Members can manage their accounts online, including checking loans Read more…
